It’s only a couple days away from Spring, so it’s time to break out the Rain Boots! If you don’t already have rain boots you wear, wait until April because Target is partnering with Hunter boots to create a whole line of affordable rain boots for everyone in the family.
When I first got rain boots, I didn’t know how I should wear them to look cute, because they are a little clunky and I didn’t want to look like a toddler in them. I’ve found a couple classic looks that I fall back to when it’s raining and I’m running late for work (like always lol).
Wear Rain Boots with Jeans
Jeans and Rain Boots can be put together just like wearing jeans and riding boots. Basically anything goes, especially if you have a solid color boot like I do. I also have pink polka dot boots and it is so hard to match an outfit to my boots; because if I match my outfit to my boots and then take the boots off, then I feel like I’m missing the key focus point of the outfit.
Wear Rain Boots with Tights & a Dress
Casual dresses and skirts with tights go really well with rain boots. Rain boots are perfect for running errands or if you want to look cute and have a practical outfit at the same time. The last picture (right) shows me actually wearing a rain coat which is the most practical but still cute with the outfit. I bought this rain coat from Lands End and it is perfect for Spring. It is fleece lined so it’s perfectly warm in 40 degree weather and it has a flap that you can snap down so if you’re sitting in the stands you can sit on the bottom of your coat instead of a wet bleacher.
Wear Rain Boots with Knee High Socks and a Skirt
I didn’t take a bunch of pictures with the knee high socks because it’s honestly a little too cold to wear it like this right now in Michigan. I would wear this look in the summer when it’s too hot for jeans or tights but still need some splash protection.
So who else will be with me at the nearest Target looking for the Hunter displays this April?
